A lovely antique bronze combination inkwell and pen holder from the Art Nouveau era, circa early 1900s. The solid bronze inkwell is decorated with a lighter colored flower and organic design motif. The top lifts up on a hinge to reveal the original intact glass ink well. The front is slightly curved upwards to hold a pen. The bottom and cap are stamped with manufacturing numbers 775 and 776A.
In good condition with some light scuffs, patina, and rust under the lid.

A stunning antique Loetz hand-blown vase from the late 1890s. The art glass features a lustrous Crete Pampas surface decor of pulled green thread over blue-green-gold iridescent. The urn-shaped vase has a wide fluted wide mouth and a polished pontil.
Loetz was the top Bohemian Art Glass manufacturers during the Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) period. It was founded in 1840 by Johann Loetz, in what is now the Czech Republic,

Antique early 1900s plaque was made in Hohenberg, Bavaria, by porcelain manufacturer C. M. Hutschenreuther. It features a glazed, enamel rendering of Joseph Karl Stieler’s portrait of Antonia Wallinger. The young woman is in a Grecian-style gold-embellished dress and is holding a golden goblet.
The plaque was hand-painted by Franz Xaver Thallmaier (1890-1910), of the most prominent porcelain painting studios in Germany. Signed F.H. Thallmaier München on the front lower left.
Markings on the back include a hand-written “Antonia Wallinger”, an impressed Hutschenreuther CMHR mark and a three-digit numeric code 311, which indicates the 5" x 7" size.
Porcelain plaque is in excellent vintage condition.
The outer frame is rustic gold, the inner frame is brown velvet, with some nap loss.

Antique late 19th c. German enamel painting on a porcelain plaque. It features a glazed enamel rendering of “At the Fountain” by Gaston Casimir Saint-Pierre (1833-1916). Finely-painted gold detail can be seen on the bodice, skirt, bracelets, and jug. Markings include “Source Charmeuse” Nach G.C. Saintpierre written in script on the back of plaque along with a paper label reading “CB107F/494”. Unsigned.
Porcelain plaque is in excellent vintage condition.

This lovely antique ceramic holder was used as a sponge holder during the Art Nouveau period, in the early 1900s. The exterior is hand-painted with four delicate water lily’s on a pale green and blue background. The handles and rim are in matte gold. The removable ceramic insert underneath kept the sponge dry. This piece would work well with a bar of round soap.

A late 19th-century purse, known as a miser’s purse. It’s crocheted from deep brown purse silk and decorated with an ornate design of steel cut beads. The rectangular end is finished in a lighter brown color and has a row of dangling metal bead fringe. They were made with two different-shaped ends to keep currencies separate. The owner could feel the difference in the ends during the dimly lit Victorian era. The purse opening is located in the middle between the two ring sliders. The sliders would be pushed down after the coins were added for safekeeping. The purses would have been worn over a men's or ladies belt or twisted around the finger.
In very good condition, some tarnish/discoloration on the metal fringe.

The piece shows movement and is interesting to view from every angle. The sculpture was influenced by the 936 Berlin Olympics. The original sculpture was designed by artist Béla Pankotai Farkas (1885-1945) and commissioned and cast by Herend porcelain manufacturer. The artists' press mark is on the base. This ink rocker blotter is in the Abalone pattern which is a stylized grape, vine, and leaf motif on a linear circle & square ornate Art Nouveau background. The inset abalone discs represent grapes.
The knob is set with abalone and is mounted on a background design of two large abalone medallions. The top finish is a darkened gold, the blotter sides and bottom are a smooth gold finish. The curved wood blotter piece is intact and held securely with a screw. Factory stamped at TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK. Signed ‘1164’ and an artisan's mark 'S' with a circular symbol.

The back repeats Libra, Cancer, and Sagittarius signs and the sides have a spiral design. The finish is Brown Patina, a chemical process was used to change the surface color of the bronze to brown. This rocker blotter is in the Venetian pattern which simulates elaborate tooled leather designs used by Venetian craftsmen in the sixteenth century. A band of deeply carved ermines is featured on each piece. The Renaissance period often featured ermine in artwork as a symbol of purity.
The rocker blotter has an elaborately ornate pattern on the know handle and top of the blotter. Both sides of the blotter feature a row of ermines set on a background of flowers. The finish is Dull Gold Bronze, one of three different gold finishes used in Venetian. Factory stamped TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 1646
In good condition with patina in the relief areas. A small spot of red (enamel?) can be seen on the right side of each ermine band.

Imagine the women who have looked into this mirror over the past 125+ years. This antique dresser mirror is from the Victorian era. It sits in an intricately embossed oval metal frame with an attached stand. The mirror is beveled and in remarkable condition, with very minor spotting. The brass metal is a dark brown/bronze color and heavily oxidized with peaks of the original bright gold brass throughout. The two flower-shaped knobs on either side adjust the tilt of the mirror.
Condition: Metal is heavily oxidized/tarnished, with some spotting on the mirror. A small scroll piece from the base is broken off (see photo)

This vintage 1920s purse is encrusted with shimmering iridescent glass beads in shades of blues and black. The tightly applied beads are sewn onto the crocheted structure. The bag has terrific movement with a beaded fringe on top and a tassel at the bottom. This reticule has a drawstring closure at the top which doubles as a handle. The handle is a thin gold-tone double chain.
In very good vintage condition except for the blue silk lining which in poor condition and has torn away from the bag.

An amazing glimpse into women's beauty care from 100 years ago. This manicure travel set contains 20 tools: two shoe horns, a container with a nail whitener tube, emery board, nail whitener pencil, 3 button hooks, 2 metal emery boards, nailbrush, scissors, tweezer, 2 small round containers, buffer, and a few other nail tools. The set would make a fantastic display on top of a dresser or vanity.
Some of the pieces are made of celluloid which was often referred to as ‘French Ivory’ (it's not genuine ivory from animal tusks). Two tools have a marbelized celluloid handle. The case has a faux brown leather exterior with a rose-colored fabric interior. It folds up into a small traveling case. The pieces are held in place by two adjustable fabric straps.
In good vintage condition for its age, the set may be missing a piece or two and a couple of pieces are not from the original set. The interior fabric shows some wear. One small container has a cracked top. Some minor stains on the case exterior. Some tools have some tarnish and/or spots.

This 1920s vintage mesh bag is in a delicate baby-fine metal mesh which is material-like to the touch. The Dresden enamel bag is painted with an abstract design. The bag was made by Whiting Davis (founded in 1892) known for designing the first mesh bag and is still in business today. The frame is embossed gold metal with the Whiting & Davis stamp inside. This vintage 1950s rich black mouton stole gorgeously drapes over the shoulders. Mouton is sheepskin that was shorn and dyed to resemble beaver fur or sealskin during this time period. This capelet is soft, warm, and has a luxurious feel.
The design features two long sections at the front that can fasten with a hook and loop or remain open. The back curves down gracefully. The inside is lined in midnight blue satin and has two inner arm straps. The label is 'Pomeroy's Reading', a Pennsylvania department store built in stages from 1892 to 1957. The monogram reads 'AMW'
In very good vintage condition with signs of very light wear in the lining.

A fabulous vintage 1950s Christian Dior beret in bright and shiny silver lamé. It features a gold sequined band accented with three large silver lame cross-stitches.
The fabric is gathered at back and fastened with a large sequined, netted pompom. The lining is a bright pink fabric which may also be seen peeking through the sequin band.
The original fabric label reads “Christian Dior Chapeaux Paris-New York.

A vintage 1950s McCoy pink rectangular planter. The planter is in a pink glaze with a black brushed design on the legs, similar to the basketweave pattern. McCoy pottery was produced in the US in the early 20th century. The embossed McCoy USA stamp is on the bottom.

A lovely pair of vintage mid-20th century original watercolors on paper. The pair feature portraits of ladies dressed in English Regency era (1813-1827) clothing. One lady is dressed for a masquerade ball and holding a black mask, the other is holding an open fan. The illustrations are by Pennsylvania artist Louise Schabacker (1903-1987) and signed at the bottom.
In good vintage condition, the paper is yellowed and has some small marks. The gold-painted frame shows wear and paper backing has been removed.

A vintage 1950s muskrat fur coat in a classic full-length design. Muskrat was commonly dyed to resemble a more expensive mink. The reddish-brown fur coat has a notched lapel and straight sleeves. This heavy-weight coat does not have any closures. It has two lined pockets. The lining is brown with a small floral pattern. The collar can be turned up for extra protection. Made by George's Furs, Bethlehem, PA.
The fur and lining are in good shape. The coat has an approx. 5" tear on the back left shoulder seam and a 3" tear on the left arm. Please see photos

A vintage 20-year perpetual calendar that functioned from 1955 through 1974. It has a rotating dial to choose the days, months, and years. This is a brass desktop model with an easel-type back to hold it upright. It's decorated with red-painted accents. Made by Sarna Brass, an Indian import business started by Sajan Singh Sarna in 1920.

This vintage 1960s three-piece matching luggage set features a bold abstract pattern in yellow, brown, white, and black. A perfect set for the retro traveler or as part of a home decor display. The trio of matching bags can nest into each other to save storage space. The small and mid-size bags do not appear to have been used and have the original store tag ‘Bag Bazaar Inc 12 W. 37th St. New York NY 10018 Japan’. The exterior has a zippered, angled pocket, brown plastic handle, locking zipper with the original keys. The interiors are embossed orange-brown vinyl with a full-size open pocket. The inside label reads ‘Japan’.
The small and medium-sized bags are in excellent vintage condition. The large bag is in very good vintage condition and shows some minor wear on the bottom, the outside fabric color is slightly more faded than the others and shows some patina on the metal fittings.
