A stunning antique Loetz hand-blown vase from the late 1890s. The art glass features a lustrous Crete Pampas surface decor of pulled green thread over blue-green-gold iridescent. The urn-shaped vase has a wide fluted wide mouth and a polished pontil.
Loetz was the top Bohemian Art Glass manufacturers during the Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) period. It was founded in 1840 by Johann Loetz, in what is now the Czech Republic,
