This purse is from the 1920s and features a black and gold geometric patterned Art Deco clasp. The bag was made by Whiting & Davis, founded in 1892, still in business today, and well-known for designing the first mesh bag. The bag exterior is made of a fine gold metal chain link. The interior is black mesh which can be seen through the exterior chain link.
In good vintage condition, loose/open links in the exterior corner, a few loosened links inside clasp hinge, some loss of black paint in the interior, metal loss on the kiss clasp.
