I was born in Manhattan, raised in Brooklyn, and studied at Pratt Institute, where I majored in Graphic Design. After completing my BFA, I worked at Scholastic as a children's book designer. I went on to start a graphic design studio where I worked for book publishers, along with private clients. My work branched out into designing furniture and interior spaces for a commercial renovation company.
I made a career change, and attended Kutztown University where I received my M.Ed in Art Education and PreK-12 Art Education Certification. I currently work as a High School Digital Art Teacher.
My past art and design teachers have helped shape and guide my path through life. I want to impact students' lives in the same positive way. I intend to bring my knowledge and skillsets to the next generation to help them develop paths to future art & design careers.
I’m passionate about art and design, collecting art, cooking & entertaining, antiquing, galleries, and museums.
